Dr Ketut Gede Dharma Putra MSc, environmental experts from the Udayana University in Denpasar, explained that the river water in Bali has exceeded a predetermined quality standard, ie, arising from heavy metal (Pb), cadmium (Cd) and tembaka (CU).

Similarly, garbage and waste were found in areas that have a rapid rate of development among others in the area of Denpasar and Badung regency.
